Select CutAway Fusible 15in x 10yds

The temporary fusible coating on this sheer, soft, non-stretch cutaway creates a bond that prevents fabrics from stretching or distorting. Use for supporting t-shirt quilts, bias-cut pieces, or simply to keep blocks from moving while adding sashing or borders. For stabilizing a T-shirt quilt block: Cut Select Cutaway at least one inch larger than the T-shirt block. Place the fusible side of Select Cutaway to the wrong side of the block. Cover the Select Cutaway with a pressing cloth or piece of cotton. Press using a medium iron temperature (wool). Square the block by trimming away the excess Cutaway. For stabilizing embroidery on knit: Cut Select Cutaway at least one inch larger than the size of the embroidery frame intended for use. Place the fusible side of Select Cutaway to the wrong side of the fabric or garment. *If the design is dense or large, place a second layer at a 45 degree angle, directly over the first piece. Cover the Select Cutaway with a pressing cloth or piece of cotton. Press using a medium iron temperature (wool). Place the now stabilized fabric within the hoop and stitch. Once the embroidery is complete, pull the stabilizer back to the design and trim away the excess. It may be necessary to reheat the stabilizer in order for it to release from the fabric.
