My Folding Sewing Mat

The Folding Sewing Mat is 17.5" x 19.5" unfolded. It can be folded in half and in half again to make a 9.5" square. The pattern is 5 pages total of easy to follow step by step directions with 3 pages of illustrations. The folding sewing mat is great for holding your favorite sewing tools with a little removable snap pouch. The snap pouch can hold your clips or cut threads. The foam padding in the mat, that your sewing machine sits on helps prevent vibration. The bottom part of the mat hangs over the table so the pockets are right in front of you for easy reach of your tools. There are 2 rows with a total of 9 different size pockets to hold all your sewing supplies. For storage or travel the top part of the mat folds over to protect your tools. You can then fold it in the half again and clip the sides closed with the swivel hook. This is a perfect size to take on the go to a sewing class or retreat.
