Modern Nellie

Quilt finished size 42" X 42". The large Dresden is sewn using 3 different size Dresdens which are then appliqued on top of each other, giving a 3 ring effect. Fabulous stash buster! The different sized Dresdens are cut from different places on Creative Grids new 22.5 degree triangle. The 4 corner hexagons are cut from scraps and sewn together in half hexagon units, then appliqued on. This is a quick quilt which gives a modern twist to a very traditional block. Uses the Creative Grids CGREU3.
