These two little bees are preparing to celebrate the holiday...they've got stars stitched into their Bee Trails using an easy running stitch and black embroidery floss. There's even a Star around the opening of the Beehive Door! The Bees have decorated their home with a Flag on top and a Banner on the railing. How patriotic! Beehives are super easy piecing with applique details. Part of the personality of this block are the specialty fabrics we used in the block.
