Product Description

Cupola Views was inspired by the Cupola module on the International Space Station. One main circular window and six surrounding side windows provide astronauts with spectacular views of Earth and celestial objects.  Includes:  Limited Edition Commemorative 5" hexagon sticker featuring  7 of my favorite photographs taken from the ISS of Earth. Pattern:  Baby, Throw & Twin sizes in 2 different layout options:  Modern Stripe and Kaleidoscope  (both layouts shown here).   Pre-cut friendly.  Pattern booklet: 24 pages. Cupola Views was designed in collaboration with Sarah Ruiz, a talented quilt pattern designer and NASA engineer. Sarah was the perfect person to work with to design this quilt pattern as she was also a flight controller for my 2008 space shuttle mission, and a member of the operations safety team during my 2013 space station expedition. This quilt design represents the dual passions we feel about space and working with fabrics.
